Enterprise AI: Value, Control and Advantage

Enterprise AI is no longer a technology question. It is now an execution question. Three questions matter most.

Over the previous twelve months, the Executive Technology Board has worked across these topics with senior technology leaders in Amsterdam, London, Seattle, Singapore, Sydney and Toronto. This meeting in Tokyo expands on that collective intelligence.

What We Will Discuss

Where AI Is Real. We will discuss where AI is already producing results you can measure, on the P&L, in capacity, or in cycle time. We will also look at why some projects reached production and others stopped.

Trust, Control, and What We Allow. We will discuss what a company needs in place before AI goes into production. We will look at how you explain an AI decision to a board, a regulator, or a customer. And we will ask where and when human in the loop is best.

Durable Advantage in the Age of AI. Models keep improving, and every company can buy the same ones. Advantage then comes from what only your company has. We will discuss where that advantage sits, and how you keep it even if you change models in eighteen months.

How the Meeting Runs

Each session builds on our combined learnings and experiences inside the room and also includes a short summary of the current state of collective intelligence at the board, drawn from the previous meetings we have had around the world, including what did not work.

There are no member presentations and no slides. Board meetings are held among peers in confidence, under the Chatham House Rule. We also follow clear guidelines on antitrust and anti-collusion. Everyone who attends receives a written summary.

What To Expect

Learnings from our collective intelligence. We will discuss the broader experience of more than 250 member enterprises so far. We will cover what has worked, what has failed, and what we have learned.

Practical and authentic tone. The entire conversation will be based on what member companies are working through and have actually built, lessons learned and results achieved in the real world; not on vendor benchmarks and market hype.

Membership in a leading tech think tank. Participants become part of the Executive Technology Board. Members receive the summary from the rest of the meetings worldwide, and can attend future meetings.

Before the Meeting

We will look to connect prior to the meeting to seek your inputs into the plan and agenda and ensure it is the highest value for the group. You will also receive short pre-reads prior. The format is a board meeting discussion, not a slide presentation, and depends on everyone contributing; and the day works best when everyone fully leans in. We therefore ask you to appropriately block the time on your calendar - both, to take advantage of the forum, and as a courtesy to peer members.
