The Think Tank
The Executive Technology Board is a peer-group-only forum with over 265 CIO, CTO, CDO and CAIO members at Fortune 500 and 1000 companies around the world. The pace of change with Data, Technology and AI means we all work without operating manuals or established frameworks, and the collective intelligence of peers is the best guide available. But it is hard to harvest without an independent, confidential, and curated forum with deep, granular discussions and proper antitrust and anti-collusion hygiene. This is what we focus on and today we are the leading think tank of our kind in the world.
At the Meeting
The think tank meets eight times in a year on different then-current agenda topics - in cities of innovation and vitality across the world - in a working board meeting among a dozen-plus peers, run to a governance standard.
Before the meeting, a pre-call is set up to co-create or fine-tune the agenda and brief/plan the meeting. Members receive pre-read materials and bring to the meeting their lived experiences in digital transformation, the learnings from challenges resolved and the real, unresolved problems they are working through.
There are no presentations, no slides. The majority of meeting time is in moderated discussion on the co-created agenda topics between the highly curated group of attending members. The discussions are granular and authentic, and the value of the meeting is produced by the members in the room.
Full attendance is strongly encouraged given the meeting format, and meetings are run under Chatham House rules with strict antitrust and anti-collusion protocols..
Following the Meeting
A written synthesis from the discussions at the meeting (with no company names or attributions) is available to all members after the board meeting.
First time meeting participants become members of the Executive Technology Board. Members may participate at any of our board meetings a year based on their areas of interest. There are no subscription fees for the membership.
Member-to-member follow-up is encouraged. Introductions, shared artifacts, and continued threads between meetings are easily facilitated. The authentic, granular learnings from a trusted and curated peer-group of executives is where the true long term value of the think tank rests.
