Context

As part of the pre-read we will include a short description on “You”, “Your Company” (sourced from LinkedIn and your company website), and “Where You Are” in the company’s technology journey.

Example: “We are transforming ourselves into an AI-first company, but working through what it means to be one, how to drive transformation effectively across the business, which areas of investment will have positive returns on investment, and defining what great looks like when we get there. Our core is made up of SAP , Salesforce, Azure and Snowflake, and our top edge applications are in supply chain and factory automation”

Question 1: Can you please give us a short paragraph on this last point that includes two things (1) a key goal for the company as it relates to data, technology and AI and (2) a sense for your foundational architecture.

Architecting AI for the Enterprise

AI - and Generative AI - is becoming a larger focus for our organizations, across the board. And Enterprise Architecture is emerging as one of the critical success factors in running AI at scale. Specifically, getting a data foundation is essential - and yet Data continues to be last unsolved problem in the enterprise. Model Accuracy is an evolving science and picking the right language model for the long term is almost a non starter - but equally implementing a model-switchable backend to accommodate the latest models is also hard. Through all this what are some of the key questions that need to be resolved, what are the best practices that we are realizing, and what lessons have we learnt and can share.

Question 2: Can you please write out the top three questions on this topic you would like to see addressed ?

Practical Frameworks for Scaling Innovation

Sometimes piloting innovation can be scaringly easy - but scaling to production is almost always incredibly tough. This journey of Pilot to Production - going from experiments, incubation and POCs to scaling innovation in the enterprise - requires significant attention across the tech and business teams. What are some of the best frameworks and working models around organizational design and championship, strategy and capital allocation, program and portfolio management that drive success.

Question 3: Can you please write out the top three questions on this topic you would like to see addressed ?

Innovative Company

We are compiling a list of Innovative companies with emerging technology that our members have been exposed to. For context, our members are looking to potentially accelerate use of earlier-stage emerging technologies as a way to balance their existing center of gravity, mostly across large scale core systems currently. This “Innovation 25” list will be published (under Chatham House rules) for our members - and meant as a reference point, and as a way to garner insights from peer users.

Question 4: Can you please provide the name of one innovative technology company with embedded AI that is small (private and under $1B in revenues) that you feel is/can be extremely transformative?
